We want to thank all of you for your patience over this last six months in keeping up with our music, upcoming record, and tour dates as we’ve relocated and been planning along the way!
We are pleased to announce that Mel will be doing a solo tour out west this summer with artist and friend Valeri Lopez (Seattle, WA) starting in Seattle, WA and going down the coast to southern California, from July 27th- August 9. Please check back soon for official venues and times! We will also be scheduling a few more dates in the Northeast (NYC and Boston mostly) as summer approaches.
There is also other news in the making, but the biggest piece of information is probably regarding our third and upcoming album, which many of you have given us the funds and support to make! We are pleased to announce that Tommy Perkinson, Nashville session player and current drummer for Over the Rhine, will be drumming on our third album, scheduled to record in studio in the beginning of June! We have recorded these songs and re-recorded and decided to scrap what we have done and make the best record we can. These songs reflect an important time in our lives and this record is our baby! We are excited to bring Tommy and many other talented engineers/ producers in on this project! Anticipated release date is early fall. We promise it will be worth it!!
